The UI/UX designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces and experiences for our various digital products and platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user requirements and translate them into visually appealing and functional designs. Your role will be instrumental in enhancing the user experience and driving engagement with the firm's investment products and services.

- Conduct user research, usability testing, and user interviews to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and needs.

- Analyze and interpret research findings to inform design decisions and recommend user-centered solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define user personas, user journeys, and user flows.
- Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for our digital products and platforms, including websites, applications, and dashboards.
- Ensure consistency in visual design elements, typography, and branding across all digital touchpoints.
- Design and optimize user experiences to improve usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with development team to ensure seamless integration of design elements and technical feasibility.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results
- Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and agile development processes
- Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to non-design stakeholders
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the financial services or investment industry
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma is essential. Knowledge of CAD software and 3D modeling tools is also beneficial.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects.
- Solid understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design approach.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on UI/UX design
- Excellent visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and composition
